After your Salzburg hotel pickup (or any other site in Salzburg), your journey will take you straight to the first highlight of that tour, the Sound of Music Wedding Church in Mondsee. There is ample of time to see the inside and outside of that beautiful church and as well to explore Mondsee town center.

The next highlight is Wolfgang Lake and the villages St. Gilgen and St. Wolfgang. Capture a picture of the emerald lake before arriving at the next town, in Bad Ischl. The drive will take you through Bad Ischl, which is famous for the “Kaiser” (Emperor) Villa and the Café Zauner, and on to Bad Goisern and Hallstatt.

Having reached Hallstatt and the highlight of this full day tour, experience the extraordinary panoramic view over Hallstatt with lake and the extensive mountain scenery from the World Heritage Skywalk lookout platform, which hovers 350 meters (1150 ft) abvoe the roofs of Hallstatt. The visit of the platform and the Salt Mine will take about 2.5 hours in total, including the ride up and down with the funicular and the stroll to the entrance of the Salt Mine.

After that very unique experience drive with your guide to the best view point of Hallstatt.
